East side residents hold corporation accountable for polluting their neighborhood

Health Writer Gary Karch and community activist Lance Green discuss the impact of the Kipp Corporation’s legacy of ground, air and water contamination caused by the production of perchlorethylene, a solvent used in the dry cleaning process. Lance Green, an expert on industrial pollution who spent twenty years working for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, lays out the facts and potential hazards the Kipp contamination represents to residents of the Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahara neighborhood.
